Description
Carprieve is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) useful in the control of chronic and acute pain and inflammation in dogs (e.g. acute injury, arthritis, DJD, hip dysplasia etc)
Ease of administration and flexible dosing allows for use in dogs of all weights.
Further Info:
- Not to be administered concurrently or within 24 hours of other NSAIDs.
- Do not use where:
- there is a possibility of gastro-intestinal ulceration or bleeding
- animals are suffering from cardiac, hepatic or renal disease
- there is evidence of a blood dyscrasia or hypersensitivity to the product.
- Use in animals less than 6 weeks of age or in aged animals may involve additional risk - may require a reduced dosage and careful clinical management.
- Avoid use in any dehydrated, hypovolaemic or hypotensive animal. Concurrent administration of potential nephrotoxic drugs should be avoided.
- Do not exceed the stated dose or the duration of treatment.
- No specific studies have been reported in pregnant dogs.
