Frudix Tablets are a diuretic (increases urine excretion) medication often used in congestive heart failure and other conditions requiring diuresis.
Furosemide is an efficient diuretic which increases the urinary excretion of water, sodium, chloride and potassium. It acts primarily by affecting sodium resorption in the loop of Henle.
Further Info:
- Diuretic effects may occur within one hour after oral dosing, and peak effects within two hours
- Side effects are usually an increase in both thirst and urine output
- Dosage:
- Always use as prescribed by your veterinarian
- Dogs, cats. 1 tablet/10 kg once or twice daily at eight hour intervals
- Severe cases may require double the stated dose.
- Duration will be determined by your veterinarian
