Description
Used for the treatment of dry eye, Pannus (CSK) and Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca (KCS).
Optimmune contains Cyclosporin which acts as an anti-inflammatory and to increase tear production (lacrimation)
Cyclosporin is an immunomodulatory drug
Dosage Recommendations:
- For KCS - 6mm to affected eye every 12 hours
- For CSK - 6-10mm to affected eye every 12 hours
- Place dose directly onto cornea
- Duration depends on severity, it may be lifelong

It is recommended that your pet recieves a regular checkup and Schirmer tear test to determine how well the treatment is going.
Sometimes the problems are lifelong but Optimmune can help with clinical signs.
